Every Serac Mobility Solutions product — Storm, Forge and Velocity — is a different arrangement of the same underlying engineering: a standardised power module, power shared dynamically across active outputs, and, where there is no fixed grid connection, that same charge carried in a battery instead. All of it is currently in development.

Pillar 01

Modular 30 kW architecture.

PM30 is designed as a single, standardised 30 kW liquid-cooled power module — SiC-first, built as a hot-swappable sealed cartridge. Every Storm and Forge cabinet in the range is designed as the same module, repeated to reach the output a site needs.

The intent is to engineer one module to a high standard once, then scale it rather than re-engineer power electronics for every cabinet size. Conservative derating and graceful degradation are designed in, prioritising reliability over peak performance.

PM30 is designed for >96% efficiency and a target design life of 25+ years. It is an internal architecture, not a component offered for sale to OEMs.

Pillar 02

Dynamic power sharing.

Every Storm and Forge cabinet is designed to allocate its total power intelligently across whichever CCS2 outputs are active — one vehicle can be designed to draw the full cabinet rating, or several vehicles can share it, without a fixed per-port ceiling.

Because every port draws from the same pool of PM30 modules, the system is designed so utilisation stays high whether a site has one car charging or a full bay in use.

Battery-integrated charging.

Every Storm and Forge cabinet is built on the same modular PM30 architecture, so battery integration is never locked in at the factory. A station can be commissioned as a standard grid-tied charger and later upgraded with an integrated battery pack — available as an optional, upgradable accessory rather than a rebuild.

The same architecture is designed for easy solar connectivity, so a site can add a solar input alongside the grid connection without a separate retrofit — reducing grid dependence and lowering the carbon footprint of every charging session.

The Velocity charging system takes the same approach to its natural extreme: a 64 kWh LFP battery and 60 kW DC output built onto a vehicle platform, so a charge can be delivered wherever a vehicle can reach. It is the one case where battery integration is standard, not optional, since there is no fixed grid connection at the point of use.
